Dear Parents,

Quality education is one of the most important gifts a child can receive. It is at school where our sons and daughters learn about themselves and the world in which they live. It is where their interests are nurtured; their characters shaped; their lives transformed. This is why choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. I invite you to consider Christ the King School for your son or daughter.

Christ the King School offers small classes and a dedicated faculty, teaching our students within a warm and welcoming family-oriented community. Parents are encouraged to be partners in their child's learning. You may work directly with children in the classroom and on athletic fields, as well as provide leadership and support in the school community.

We are proud of our excellent academic program. In the past year, Christ the King students have been nationally recognized for achievement in Mathematics and Writing. Our students' WASL scores consistently rank among the highest in the state, while our IOWA tests confirm student academic growth averages over one grade level per year. We offer Federal Title 1 assistance for qualified students and have outstanding Art and Music programs. Our outstanding faculty includes 3 Gates Foundation leadership teachers, helping to support our commitment to technological innovation within the student classroom experience.

Our middle school is among the the finest in the city. Multi-age homerooms strengthen community between our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Teachers holding advanced degrees provide instruction in their areas of specialization. Because our class sizes are small, teachers are able to build relationship, supporting and empowering their students during this key time in adolescent development. For the past four years, 100% of our graduates have been accepted at the high school of their choice and many of our graduates have gone on to fill leadership positions at their chosen schools.
