Class Auction Project
Each class will create a project as part of the Christ the King School's annual auction. These auction items have always been very popular and can bring in a lot of money to the auction. At least three months prior to the auction, the Auction Committee will have submitted possible project ideas to the designated room parents and teachers. Together they decide on the project. It is best to make a decision as early as possible so that the projects are completed in a timely manner.
To Do:
- Auction room parent, teacher and auction committee decided on a project for the class and who will be implementing the idea. (sometimes someone who does not have a child in that particular class will assist in creating and/or finishing the auction project).
- Find out from the auction committee as to when the project needs to be completed.
- Send home notices with each child in the class as to what the project is and the amount of money or supplies required from each child. Be specific on when those monies and/or supplies are due at school. If needed, the room parent may have to follow-up by calling each parent on the phone tree.
- Auction room parent needs to work out a schedule with the teacher for class project time.
- Purchase all materials and begin project.
