Activity Information
ESL Classes
Our ESL classes are offered after school hours 4 days a week, with each class running for one and a half hours. Our students will receive a total of 6 hours a week of ESL instruction specifically designed for them. The ESL classes will work cohesively with CKS class room work.Tutoring
Our tutoring program is designed to help our international students keep up with the rigorous classroom work that is assigned in their individual classes at CKS. Weekly meetings will be conducted with each student's teacher to assess their academic needs and will then be communicated to the tutors. It will be a small group setting so students will feel more comfortable asking much needed questions and receive the extra help and time that they need to be successful here at CKS. The times for tutoring sessions will be held during their class' scheduled Spanish class. Students will receive up to one and a half hours of tutoring a week.Weekend Activity Opportunities
