Welcome,

     Christ the King School is in the northwestern part of Seattle called Broadview.  Our school has a very treasured history of Catholic education within the parish of Christ the King Church.  The school is noted for its warm sense of community.  Students, parents, teachers, staff, and Father Cleaveland, our Pastor, work together to deliver a quality Catholic education. 

     At Christ the King School all academic areas are stressed with the visual and performing arts interwoven throughout the curriculum.  Students not only participate in an excellent Physical Education program; they are members of various CYO teams that compete with other Catholic and private schools in Seattle.  Each spring students who choose to participate are part of a large musical production.  Last year  “Peter Pan” was performed with some students flying out over the audience.  This year “The Sound of Music” is being proposed. 

     Our school offers a full-day preschool; Caritas, half day preschools for 3 and 4 year olds; EEC and Kindergarten through 8th grade. Whether you have a student for our preschools, a first through fifth grader, or a middle school student you can be assured that your student will feel welcomed and part of the community while receiving an excellent Catholic education. 

     This is my first year as principal at Christ the King Catholic School.  It is my thirteenth year as a Catholic school principal.  Before that I taught for several years in the primary and intermediate grades of both public and Catholic schools.  I have a strong passion for Catholic education and admire your consideration of Christ the King School for your student(s).  Please call, email, or drop by to meet with me.  Please have a registration packet with more information sent to you.
