Christ the King School´s operational budget is made up of three parts; student tuition, generous parish financial support and fundraising. Fundraising is used to keep tuition costs low and the quality of our academic programs high.


 

Fundraising Events

Auction

 The Annual Auction is our school´s largest fundraiser. It is an incredible event featuring great food, drink, music and a real sense of our community. This event is the social highlight of the school year. This amazing event would not be possible without the support and help from our entire community. Please contact this year´s auction chair to find out how you can volunteer.
Annual Fund The Annual Fund is phone-a-thon where volunteers contact parents, alumni, parishioners and friends of the school for pledges that go to directly support our school.
United Way The United Way allows you to designate specific organizations instead of the general fund. You can direct your United Way dollars to go to Christ the King School. Your company´s matching funds would still go to your local United Way to support needed charities. It´s a great way to support your school and your community at the same time.
Gift Matching Double or triple your tax deductible donations by using your company´s Employee Matching Gift program. Many companies support their communities by encouraging and matching their employee´s gift 100 percent.

Some companies also have programs that match employee volunteer hours. Check with your company for details.

Sally Foster Sales
Use CKS Account #0305589 		The Sally Foster fundraiser is a sales contest where the students earn prizes for selling high quality gift wrap, gifts and food items. The school benefits with each purchase you make. This fundraiser takes place in September.
Entertainment Books Entertainment Books are sold at the school office and at the parish office. Entertainment books are books with discount coupons for dining, travel, movies and a lot more. All proceeds go to the Father Leehy (tuition assistance)Fund.
Scholastic Book Fairs Book fairs are a great way to stock up on reading material for that voracious young reader. They have books for all ages and the proceeds benefits the Christ the King library.

Safeway escrip
 Sign-up for Safeway escrip online and a portion of your Safeway purchases will be returned to CKS.
Target´s Taking Charge of Education With a Target charge card, one percent of what you buy is gifted to our school.
Tyson Project A+ Cut out the special Project A+ labels and drop them off at the school office.
Campbell´s Labels for Education/Labels for America Save your Campbell´s Soup label and bring them to the school office. We can redeem them for merchandise
Box Tops for Education General Mill´s program has three ways to make for the school. By cutting out the special labels on their products, online retailing similar to that of Build the Village Online and A Box Tops for Education credit card that will pay the school one percent of your total purchases.
Albertson´s Community Partners Card By using the special Christ the King Albertson´s cards, a portion of your purchases will be refunded to us.
